Have you noticed, with this warmer weather we are experiencing at the moment, that there are lots of Ladybirds out and about. Why not go on a Ladybird hunt to find this fascinating mini-beasts? Practise your pupils’ pattern seeking skills by looking at the colour and number of dots on the wings of the Ladybirds. Why not encourage your children to carry out secondary research to explore the life cycle of the ladybird – they might be surprised !
