Every year, thousands of supporters across the UK take part in Mental Health Awareness Week. This year the theme of the week is stress which during this SATS week is very appropriate.
Why not try a five minute meditation with your children before each SATS paper asresearch shows this has a very positive effect on the outcome and the children’s wellbeing

Most of us struggle with some stress during our lives but too much stress can lead can lead to a range of mental health problems such as depression and anxiety, and even self-harm and suicide. By tackling stress, we can go a long way to tackling mental health problems.

To celebrate Mental Health Week Education Guru is offering to facilitate Mental Health England’s First Aid Training two day course at the greatly reduced rate of £35 per participant for the first two establishments that get in touch. This two day training is suitable for teachers, parents, governors, support and admin staff , lunch time supervisors and anyone who spends time with children.
