If you went outside to do the bee count then National Insect Week is another chance to get your class involved with exploring the outdoors.
Every two years, the Royal Entomological Society (RES) organises the week, supported by a large number of organisations with interests in the science, natural history and conservation of insects.
There are some great resources to support you on the website from Bug Habitat lesson plans to Creative insect activities. To take a look, follow the link.
There are also two competitions on the website that your children may be interested in;
The Great Bug Hunt 2018 and the Photography competition ( under 18) 2018.
