Mentally Healthy Schools are looking for schools to take part in its phase 2 evaluation.

What are the benefits of taking part?

• Increased awareness and understanding of how to effectively support your students and staff with mental health and wellbeing.


• The opportunity to help shape the future of mental health support in primary schools.


• Recognition by way of certificate for all schools who complete the research.

Schools would be asked to complete questionnaires about supporting their students’ mental health at the start of the evaluation. Focus groups and interviews will be conducted with staff and students at some schools to gather more detailed feedback. Staff will complete a second questionnaire after one year.
