Earth Day happens every year on April 22nd and it is an opportunity to think about the environment. This years theme is Protect Our Species. There are lots of handy facts sheets about different species that are under threat and suggestions of how we can help them. Click on the folder to download a useful booklet.

There are lots of events around the country encouraging us to care for the world we live in.

Some events – like those at Somerset House in London last for a couple weeks after the actual day. Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh has lots of exciting exhibits to get involved with to discover what roamed the earth before humans. If you are in Wales why not join in with their Spring Clean, where people join together to clean up a street, beach or park to celebrate the day.
