17. Fledgling Explorations For The Young Scientist
Are you clear on where science fits into the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? This practical, useful and informative course will give you ideas and suggestions on how to interpret and develop the EYFS curriculum in an engaging, interesting, and challenging way. We look at how to create opportunities for children to explore, observe, and find out about people, places, technology, and the environment. We look at how to be creative in your teaching and how you can help foster curiosity and enquiring minds at an early age and we will go through resources and activities that are particularly relevant to this age group.
As a result of the course, you will be able to:
-
Engage children in science learning through play and make the subject relevant to their lives.
-
Guide children in exploring and understanding the world around them.
-
Identify ways to enrich and enhance your teaching of science and make it relevant and enjoyable for your pupils.
