6. Innovative Ways To Capture And Assess: Differentiated Assessment Strategies

In this workshop, you will discover creative ways to record, assess, and develop pupils` science skills and knowledge. Learn how modelling, songs, role play, and Big Books can help you find out what your children know, without them having to pick up a pencil or write in an exercise book! During the day, you will also have the chance to see how resources and apps such as Seesaw, digital microscopes, and data loggers can be used to record progress.

As a result of this course, you will be able to:
 

• Identify and use a variety of recording strategies to demonstrate pupils` progress in learning.

• Explore innovative ways, resources, techniques, and models of excellent practice to support outstanding learning and progress in science.

• Be able to assess children`s learning through a range of mediums.
