This course is designed to support primary teachers in embedding key concepts of climate change, sustainability, and ecological literacy into their science curriculum. Teachers will explore practical strategies to integrate real-world environmental issues into lessons, empowering students to understand the science behind sustainability and climate action.

The course will help teachers foster eco-consciousness by guiding them to design student-led investigations, hands-on experiments, and projects that explore sustainability in their local context. By addressing topics such as renewable energy, waste reduction, and conservation, this CPD course equips educators to inspire the next generation of environmentally aware citizens, while aligning with the 2026 national curriculum requirements.
