Save Our Seeds – KS2

Take a look at the new Endeavour Competitions for all key stages from Kew Gardens . They explore Kew's Millennium Seed Bank, giving pupils the chance to discover the seed conservation work happening in the most biodiverse place on Earth.

Challenge your class to investigate why seeds need protecting and how seed banks help safeguard plants for the future. Pupils will use their research to design an effective storage container that could preserve seeds for generations to come. Children can then submit theor creation for the competition which is a great way to get to know your new class in September. Entries can be submitted at any time during the school year.
