Tech up your GSSfS 2024 by combining science with computing. The BBC micro:bit playground survey, launched on the 20th February investigates the size, biodiversity, temperature and pupil activity levels in your school playground. The survey activities introduce pupils aged 7-11 to machine learning and working with digital data.

Primary school pupils can get involved in a large-scale playground survey during the summer term. Your class can use the BBC micro:bit to investigate the size, biodiversity, temperature and pupil activity levels in your school playground. The survey activities will introduce pupils aged 7-11 to machine learning and working with digital data. For more info on how to join in for a walk through the exciting resources and support available to help your class become data scientists in their very own playground - register for a free Webinar on the 7th March.
