Big Butterfly Count 2023

Have you taken part in the The Big Butterfly Count yet? It's a UK-wide survey aimed at helping assess the health of the environment simply by counting the amount and type of butterflies (and some day-flying moths) we see.

It's easy to take part - Between Friday 14th July and Sunday 6th August choose a place to spot butterflies and moths. Watch for 15 minutes. Then record which species you see on a handy butterfly ID chart or free app for iOS and Android. Download your chart here
