How to implement the EEF Improving Primary Science Report Suite of CPD

Have you read the EEF Improving Science Guidance Report released at the end of 2023?

This report's aim is to:

‘’ Provide six practical recommendations, underpinned by high quality evidence, about how to make meaningful improvements to primary science teaching. It is designed to help practitioners build on their existing expertise with a view to supporting them to close the attainment gap and cultivate positive pupil attitudes towards science.’’

With this in mind, we are running a number of online courses to help you achieve this - all are online and run between 3pm to 4.30pm:

Day 1: Wednesday April 17th 2024

Focus – Developing scientific vocabulary & explaining scientific thinking.

Day 2: Monday 29th April  2024

Focus – Linking scientific content to real life scenarios & Working Scientifically.

Day 3: Wednesday 8th May 2024

Focus – Assessment and focused CPD.
