Melting snowman

Over the next couple of weeks we'll be linking some of our previous news stories and lesson plans to give ideas to help you get into that Festive Mood. This is our favourite time of year to be in the classroom and we hope we can share the joy!

Todays lesson plan is Melting Snowman. This activity can be used to develop children’s understanding of changing materials and develops the skill of Observations over Time. It can also involve animation as a creative way to record. And if you're lucky enough to get some real snow this week - it’s a lesson you can take out doors!
