These two courses are designed to support primary teachers in fostering the development of scientific enquiry skills, curiosity, and critical thinking from Early Years through to Year 6. Participants will explore how to build a strong foundation of enquiry-based learning across all primary stages, encouraging children to ask questions, investigate, and think critically about the world around them.
The courses will focus on developing a progressive approach to teaching scientific enquiry, ensuring that students’ skills grow in depth and complexity as they move through the primary years. Through interactive activities and collaborative planning, teachers will be empowered to create an inquiry-rich classroom environment where students are encouraged to think like scientists, engage with real-world problems, and develop a lifelong curiosity for learning.
The EYFS & KS1 course runs 09.15-12.15 and KS2 at13.00-16.00. Contact hester@educationguru.co.uk for more info and book your place.
