Online Training: Science and the Olympics - June 11th

Using the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics as your starting point offers a rich base encompassing physics, chemistry and biology strands that run through the primary science curriculum. As a theme, the Olympics allows all year groups to link their science in a meaningful way whilst also developing disciplinary skills and increasing science capital.


Outcomes:

•  Increase science capital

•  Help support teachers to make meaningful links between Paris Olympics and science curriculum

•  Increase engagement in the classroom

•  Develop skills of applying science curriculum to worldwide events
